Mullavalliyum Thenmavum

Mullavalliyum Thenmavum is directed by V.K.Prakash, a noted ad-film maker who has made offbeat experimental films like Punarathivasam and Freaky Chakra. He is making a pucca commercial film for the first time with Kunchakko Boban and Chaya Singh (of Thiruda Thirudi fame) in the background of sea and beaches.

It is a breezy love story of Shelly (Kunchakko boban) and Rajasri (Chaya Singh). Both are students at a Fine Arts college who fall in love during their college days but fearing parental opposition the lovebirds elope!

Shelly is a fine artist had an assignment with the Tourism department to complete a houseboat 'Jalakanya' by the seaside. The lovers live in a wood house near to the project along with Thenmozhi ( Kalyani) a 12 year-old maid. Rajasri does not want to get married without the permission of her mother and she asks Shelly to wait until her mother returns.

Thenmozhi is a brat and she puts forward certain conditions that the lovers should stay in separate rooms and they are not allowed to be together for more than the allotted time. Into their beautiful life enters Andre (Indrajeet), another sculptor which forms the twist in the climax. The cast also has Geetu Mohandas, Lalu Alex, Sreevidya, Cochin Haneefa, Asokan and Mamookoya. Thiru the cameraman of films like Aalavanthan and Hey Ram handles the camera and Ouseppachan’s music is said to be the highlight of the film. There are seven songs sung by all new singers including Venugopal, Jyolsna, Indrajeet, Franko,Gayathri, Ganga and all of them are chartbusters.

Mullavalliyum Thenmavum is produced by Vindhyan under the banner of Rasika Enterprises, editing is by Beena Paul and art direction by Manmohan.
